This year our wedding anniversary celebrations included a trip to Warhammer World in Nottingham - 'cos nothing says "I Love You" like beer and Space Marines...
Over the next couple of posts I'll pop in some pictures of the minis that were on display in the painting exhibition hall - great to see them up close and personal, particularly models that I've seen in White Dwarf in the past.
Bugman's was great - scored myself a souvenir pint glass, and the chilli burger was rather tasty.
Obligatory pic of Mrs Doggles with the life-size marine:
...and here's one of my favourite dioramas of all time - the Horus / Emperor face-off:
With Games Day being just a day away, I thought that more would be missing but the exhibition hall was pretty full of great minis. More pics in the next post - for all those lucky enough to be off to Games Day tomorrow, have a great day!

Now there's an anniversary I can only dream of! That McVey diorama is very cool, I think he based it on Adrian Smith's artwork waaaaay back.

Oh yeah, Happy Anniversary!
Thanks Tim - can't wait to see the photos! :o) I just dug out the rather splendid original artwork for the McVey piece, I'll post it in a mo...
