20 years ago I used to love painting "little metal men" and playing the very first edition of what was to become the hugely successful Warhammer 40K game, so recently I decided to revisit my youth. So far this has consisted of going out and buying some minis, and then wonderful-wife going out and buying ALL THE MINIS IN THE WORLD, and a selection of paints and brushes. With a couple of hours each weekend to paint them, this is going to take a while. There they sit in the corner now... looking at me... judging me... Anyway, one thing that I've found motivational is the wealth of pictures and "how to" guides on other painters' blogs, so I decided to post some of my own humble efforts here. Hope you like 'em.

Merry Christmas - Kans all done!

Hope you had a nice Christmas - I got so much stuff to add to the painting list that it will require a separate post... In the meantime, I finished that last Killa Kan, so now we have a set of three:

  1. Nice one mate - great colours done well.

The one niggle is the guy on the left with the white jaw plate when the other two have red - dont know if this is intentional?

As I sadi though - great job all round - particularly on the blending.

  2. Thanks Rogue - good point on the jawplates - the two red ones make the one with the white look lonely... so I figured I'd get some more of these Kans (they're huge fun to do after all) and now I also have a Deff Dread to do too, then overall the whole mob is going to be a mish-mash mix of bone and red (and some bronze too).

    ...and then there's the stompa...
